We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our team. If you enjoy helping people and have great communication skills, this might be the perfect job for you!
Job Summary
As a Patient Service Representative, you will talk to our patients on the phone to help them with various needs. You will support our clinical and surgical departments to make sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Do
- Connect with Patients: You will talk to new and existing patients, answering their questions and helping them get the care they need.
- Schedule Appointments: You will set up appointments for clinic visits, procedures, and follow-up consultations, both at our center and at other locations.
- Follow Up: You will keep in touch with patients by sending letters, making phone calls, and sending faxes.
- Meet Goals: You will work to meet performance goals set by our Patient and Provider Experience Manager.
- Follow Policies: You will make sure to follow all our department policies and procedures.
- Special Tasks: You might be asked to help with special assignments, projects, and other duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience (preferred).
- High School Diploma/GED and two years of related experience (required).
- Experience in the medical field and customer service is a big plus!

Physical Demands
- You will need to sit, stand, walk, and use your hands for various tasks.
- Sometimes, you may need to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- You will need good vision for close-up tasks.
- You will communicate verbally and in writing, and use a computer regularly.
- The job is mostly in an office setting, with periods of sitting and standing.
Work Environment
- The noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
- You may experience moderate tension while dealing with issues, with occasional high tension.
Compensation
- This position is at pay grade 19 (pay is commensurate with education and experience)
- Minimum: $17.40
- Midpoint: $20.88
- Maximum: $24.36
