Job Title: Endoscopy Technician
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Pay:
– Minimum: $20.00 per hour
– Midpoint: $20.45 per hour
– Maximum: $24.36 per hour
– Paid lunches included
About the Job:
As an Endoscopy Technician, you will work closely with doctors and nurses to prepare patients and rooms for procedures. You will also take care of the equipment and help ensure the patient’s safety and comfort.
What You Will Do:
– Get the room and equipment ready for endoscopy procedures.
– Clean and maintain the scopes and accessories.
– Restock supplies in the rooms.
– Assist the Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) during procedures.
– Monitor the patient’s safety and wellbeing.
– Know where the emergency equipment is located.
– Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or GED.
– One to three months of related experience or training is a plus.
– On-the-job training will be provided.
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided by Portland Gastro if you don’t already have it).
