Dr. Kennedy is a board-certified gastroenterologist. She graduated from Williams College and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Kennedy completed her internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Colorado. She spent one year after residency as a clinical hospitalist in Littleton, Colorado. Then, she returned to training and completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She practices general gastroenterology and hepatology with a special clinical interest in inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Kennedy is a clinical assistant professor at Tufts University School of Medicine and a member of the Maine Medical Center medical staff. She currently serves as the Medical Director for Portland Gastroenterology. In Dr. Kennedy’s free time, she enjoys the Maine outdoors any time of year with her husband and two children.
