Colon Cancer Month
We’re happy you found one of our coasters or coffee sleeves out in the wild and made your way to Portland Gastroenterology

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and we’re doing our best to raise awareness. Why? First off, you matter. Secondly, colorectal cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death in men under 50 (and second for women).

If you are 45 or older.
OR
If you have a family history of colon cancer.
OR
If you are noticing something different going on with your body…

Talk to your primary care physician (PCP) about colon cancer screening. Your PCP can explain your options and refer you to our practice.
