About the Role
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse assisting with patient care, responding to medical inquiries, and supporting physicians in examinations and treatments. This role provides an opportunity to engage in specialized clinical procedures, including injection teaching, PillCam procedures, and fecal transplants.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage inbound clinical calls, assess patient concerns, and respond following established clinical care protocols.
- Review medical records for urgent requests and special patient needs.
- Support the office clinic under the direction of the Nurse Manager by gathering patient information and ensuring proper chart documentation.
- Provide patient education as directed by the healthcare team.
- Adhere to practice policies and procedures for scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication.
- Assist in clinical services and procedures as assigned.
- Perform additional administrative and clinical duties as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and computer applications.
- Required Certifications:
- Active Maine RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Preferred Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN)

- Pay grade 27
- $35.18 minimum
- $39.09 maximum
