Lead Patient Service Representative (posted 3/13/2026)

About the Role

As a Lead PSR, you are the go-to person for our Call Center team. You’ll help guide your coworkers, keep daily operations running smoothly, and step in where needed to make sure patients get the support they deserve. You’ll also fill in for the manager when they’re away.

This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring others, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient service.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the first resource for PSR staff — answer questions, help solve problems, and provide day-to-day guidance.
  • Perform all PSR duties, including answering inbound calls, scheduling appointments and procedures, and following up with patients by phone, letter, fax, or Klara.
  • Help orient and train new Call Center employees.
  • Monitor call queue volume and assist with real-time workflow support.
  • Review workloads and efficiencies with the manager.
  • Communicate staffing direction and updates to the team.
  • Escalate complex patient concerns or operational issues to management when needed.
  • Take part in special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to support a positive, productive team.
  • Great communication skills — both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage your own workload.
  • A genuine commitment to excellent patient service.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred, especially in a healthcare setting.

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree in a relevant field and 3 years of experience in a clinical call center (preferred); or
  • High school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in a clinical call center (required); or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation

  • Minimum: $25.68/hour
  • Maximum: $27.90/hour
  • Compensation will be commensurate with education, skills, and experience.
