ASC Procedure Schedule Coordinator

We are looking for a friendly and organized person to join our team as an ASC Procedure Schedule Coordinator. In this role, you will help make sure our medical procedure schedules run smoothly and efficiently.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with nurses and directors to manage doctors’ schedules.
  • Keep track of daily schedules and make adjustments to use time effectively.
  • Handle urgent scheduling changes and communicate directly with patients when needed.
  • Monitor waiting lists and scheduling queues to maximize the use of our facilities.
  • Communicate with Medical Assistants, Clinic Support Specialists, and Contact Center teams to manage schedules.
  • Follow all scheduling protocols and policies.
  • Enter data, process referrals, and request additional records as needed.
  • Reach out to patients to fill open schedule slots and review procedural prep instructions.
  • Complete electronic medical records tasks related to scheduling.
  • Take on special projects or other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of related experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Work Environment:

Compensation:

  • Minimum: $20.88/hour ($43,430.40/year)
  • Maximum: $24.36/hour ($50,668.80/year)
  • Pay commensurate with experience
  • Note that annual pay conversions do not include any overtime that may be worked during the year.
